Lakeside Labradoodles - Quality Miniature Labradoodles

Welcome to Lakeside Labradoodles

At Lakeside Labradoodles we breed top quality miniature Labradoodles and Australian Labradoodles.

Our dogs are our much loved pets and live in our family home in East Yorkshire with us. They have access to our family small holding of 9 acres (with an acre of lake) which they share with the sheep, cats and abundant wildlife.

We are licensed and regulated breeders, committed to the highest standards of animal welfare and responsible breeding practices.

About Us

We are Vicky and Rich and we live with our family and dogs in an idyllic location alongside a beautiful canal in a small market town in East Yorkshire.

I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and have had dogs (and a whole variety of other animals) all my life. Rich is currently a digger driver and also shares my passion for our country life.

Our dogs are, first and foremost, much loved family members. They live their whole lives with us, we couldn’t bare to part with them in their later years when they have passed puppy bearing age as some breeders do.

Our Puppies

Our puppies are born and raised up in our family home with us, we make sure they are handled lots by our children, family and friends and exposed to all the sights and sounds of a lively, loving family environment so when they leave for their forever homes, they are developing into sociable, well rounded, confident little dogs.

All our puppies leave us at 8 weeks old after their first vaccination and full vet health check. They are microchipped, fully wormed, treated with flea protection and leave with a puppy pack that includes a week’s supply of food, scent blanket, loads of information and a life time of support from us.

We are proud to be 5 star council licenced breeder and follow the strict 5 star rating system that the government has set out in the new Animal Welfare Regulations brought out in 2018.

Animal Welfare licence number 245325

Our vet has one of our puppies which is testament to us and all the time and love we put into our dogs.

The Labradoodle Breed

Labradoodles are a carefully planned crossbreed, combining the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the friendly, loyal nature of the Labrador Retriever. They shed significantly less than traditional breeds and don't have that typical 'doggy' odour.

This makes them ideal for families with allergies or those who prefer a cleaner home environment. Their temperament is gentle, intelligent, and eager to please, making them excellent family companions and therapy dogs.

What Our Families Say

Carrot is our pup. We fell in love with him during lockdown. Vicky was incredible we were offered regular FaceTime, lots of pictures/videos and welcomed into a WhatsApp group with the other owners. The whole experience was great. Since we brought Carrot home he has been full of confidence even the vet commented on how well he had been raised. Settled in with no hassle, no crying and has been easy to toilet train. He even went on his lead with no issues. A very happy, confident puppy. Highly recommend Vicky as a breeder.

We got our beautiful, loving, Lottie from Lakeside Labradoodles in October last year, she’s an amazing temperament and is so easy to train! She’s been a perfect addition to our family and loved by all! I can’t recommend this breeder enough.

We got our puppy from here last year & he has completed our family. Would highly recommend anyone to get their pet from here. We wouldn’t be without Teddy, he’s a fantastic family dog.
